On the net there are loads of manuals for sale but I dont think I have come accross the official ones yet.

To be honest Richard I don't think you would be able to get official one don't think BMW want us to have them cos means less money for them, lol, the Haynes ones aren't that great either they only seem to give so much info then tell you to go to your main dealer. I have some old official Ford workshop manuals for a Sierra Cosworth/500 (the original one with the big wing) and for a series 1 R.S Turbo Escort which what I own once.
lets say I acquired these books when I used to work in a parts department at a R.S Ford dealers..........nuff said
