Hi mate, thanks for the info on the waterpump :) to be honest i think it's too big a job for me! as i'm not to clued up with fixing cars, think i'll use my local garage after x-mass, i had a look at my mannual and it seems i was looking at the wrong thing in the engine? i.e. thought the thermostat housing was the waterpump!!!! so i think i should leave it alone. I'll stick to washing and polishing that way i cant go wrong and think my car would rather that too! :) Thank's anyway mate.
