This photo shows the exterior mods I have made since I bought her just over a year ago now (June 2008) - smoked Hella headlamps with dechromed surrounds, black kidney, smoked turn signals and genuine BMW blacked out trim.

That's ugly. It was lucky they didn't do any other damage apart from the wing.

Profile Information

About Me:
E34 enthusiast, owned a 1992 520i M50 which tickled the taste buds. It suffered terminal (auto) gearbox failure in June 2008 so I broke it. With the money I made, I bought my 1989 535i Sport - wow.... what a difference!!! I have also owned (briefly) a 1994 facelift E34 540i V8. Now THAT's a quick car, but I had to get rid of one - the 535i Sport or the 540. In a straight line, the 540 was much quicker but the handling was rubbish (like an old boat) and the (auto) gearbox was showing signs of failure. Lack of funds meant the excellent condition 535 won through and I sold the 540i. Great decision. What a car. Photo is of car as I bought it - Updated photos of upgrades coming soon.
Country:
England
Model:
E34
About my car:
1989 E34 535i Sport, LSD, Factory MTech kit, 218k miles and still going strong. I've added 3" deep dish M3 style Contours, Genuine BMW Shadowline Trim, Smoked Front Hella headlamps, Powerflex bushes. Next spend on Fritz's Bitz stainless exhaust...

Just make sure you get it then!! I think £195 is a little expensive, I would have thought £150 just to paint it would easily cover it!! Hopefully the colour will be a good match for you, hopefully you'll be back on the road in a few days time. Let us know how you get on.

Oh by the way.... isn't that supposed to be Dolphin Grey? It was my favourite colour on the E28s.... I always wanted a 528i SE E28 in that colour back in the old days :-)

Good luck with that..... if its in good condition and the same colour you would be pretty safe to go to £150 and still save money! It would probably cost around that amount to paint the wing anyway. Its pretty straight forward to fit and the second hand one will more than likely be an original part so it will fit better... not to mention the finish on it will probably be closer to the wing that came off. Hope you get it!!

Hi mate... what do you need to know? With regards to the wing, if you're lucky you could either pick one up the same colour second hand and fit it yourself, or if the rest of the paint is ok you could get it painted and hope it matches! Can't believe some toe rag damaged your car, there seems to be a lot of it going around these days :-/

I don't suppose anyone has an auxiliary fan motor for a 2000 E38 do they. Needs to be the last type with the three pin connector and no resistor packs.
