Trialling in the 1950s onwards

I don't know if anyone here is interested in "ancient" motorsport, but I thought I'd post this as I had a great photo opportunity last year!

I was at my dad's house and it happened that Trevor, who used to be his bouncer when my dad did trials, was there too. In the garage, my dad had a photograph of the two of them taken exactly 50 years beforehand.

Rosie's Bar - Monaco

I was watching the F1 qualifying this morning and, as always when I see Monaco, I was thinking about Rosie's Bar.

I think I was about ten years old when I first went there. We were on a family holiday in Northern Italy. But for our family, holidays were never lying-on-the-beach affairs. To begin with, we always used to drive there - wherever we were going. No aeroplanes for us!
