Future note to anyone with a M20 engine that is running badly but all electrics are fine try the airflow meter.

Get them to check the fuel pressure regulator just to make sure it is behaving... that can give you loads of problems for a simple part.

Have you checked your comprestion well not yours i'm sure you do that most mornings lol the cars And maybe your mass flow sensor or IAT sensor
