E28 refurbs and spares???

hi guys and girls I'm slowly becoming a E28 nut !!! my trade is in metal finishing and while things were quite quiet earlier in the year decided to break a couple of E28's my intention was to do some re-furb work on the chrome,powder-coat suspension parts and even polish or chrome rocker covers etc for custom cars as I drive an E28 I also realised how hard parts can be to get hold of too I have been selling parts on ebay for a while now as I have two 520's and a 528 being broken I drive a '82 52… Continue

problems with my 840ci 1995 v8

the problem i got its only firing on 6 cynlinders not the back two have checked all the coil packs out and put in brand new plugs in all cylinders all the electric are ok but not firing on the 2 back cylinder to the engine bulkhead where should i be lookin next guys any ideas please Continue

E30 M3 Evolution II Restoration

This is my 1st ever Blog i dont even know what i am doing but here goes. Motor Racing in the 60s early 70s

I first started going Motor racing in the mid sixties, 1965, the year Jim Clark took the crown. My first ever meeting was the Boxing day event at Brands Hatch, with F3 being the main event. I was hooked staight away; the noise and smell of burning rubber and fuel, which complimented the cheese sandwiches mum made for us. Slot Car Racing

As a boy from Surrey, a juvenile petrol head, attending most events at Brands Hatch, Silverstone etc with Dad, it was only a matter of time before I was on the floor with a Scalextric. FBMWSH !!!!!

FBMWSH my a$$, I recently thought I would look for the position of my fuel filter whilst I had it up in the air at my mates garage, found it under the left hand plastic floor trim near the front. Being nosey I removed the bolts and screws holing it to find the part #, this is why I have put fbmwsh in my blog title, the date on it was 2 months before the car was built !!! its nearly 10 years old !!. One of the most common failures I am asked about is in regards to the OEM sat nav systems in BMW's The most common failure is were the system displays Please wait a moment or No CD/DVD please insert correct disk.
