& Series E38 735i

Have not been on site for some time due to illness. Car just laid up outside. Had battery charged, started car but felt very cold and moist inside leather going mouldy. Battery went flat overnight. (New Battetry) Showing lots of probs with rear lighting. Someone said it appears to be water ingress possibly from rear windscreen.. Contacted Stealers, they say definately not rear window as bonded. Water is getting in from somwhere. Anyone please advise as to where? and if so how to cure…

535i

Restoring a 1985 535i. Paid $900.00 for the car. Engine had 285,000 on it. Replaced it will a used 55,000 mile engine.It has a new clutch, alternator, battery, steering pump, fuel filter, starter, engine mount, new suspension, new exhaust, new front brakes new heatercore and valve. So far ive put $6,000 into it. Still needs back brakes, subframe mounts, back struts, paint job and new front seats. Right now it has a power steering problems and an idle problem. Hello again. as i sold my e32 and bought an Chevy Van i now have time to get my e38 back in shape.
i need to change out all the doors.
front hood , a rigt side ligts and some other stuff.:P

although im quite impressed of 5,4 ltr V12 engine economy.

13,4 ltr/100

compared to my V8
17,3ltr/100

Running uneven

Hi All

Our 99 318i automatic (E46), is running between 700/800 rpm, and someone has suggested that it is "searching" and that it may need a "Throttle clean", or that one of the fuel sensors may need replacing, can anyone PLEASE comment or advise, and if it is a sensor, any ideas where best to get one, or how much they may be..my missus is doing my head in, please help...lol

Hi all, i need to change my water pump (getting a load of noise when i start up) and just wondering if anyone knows where i can get one cheap? also should i be changing the thermostat while im doing it? its a 2.5 m50 engine.

Well been so busy have not had time to update for a while. Now the good news have decided to replace my Z4 2.2 with guess what ..............

I've got a bit further with the B10 so update up to the 4th of October

Work and bad weather have hampered me quite a bit but I have managed to get the nearside inner sill repaired and the outer sill on.

I have rebuilt the front suspension and steering and fitted that along with new

brake pipes and hoses.

I have also fitted the front wing back on the nearside using my usual method of

treating the inside of the wing the same as the inner wings to stop the iron

weavel getting a hold again.

Radiator fan Bmw e46

Hi all,

looking for a little help, My radiator fan won't switch off, it runs constantly even when I take out the key. I have scanned it and nothing comes up. I have taken out the sensor on the bottom rad hose and the condensor bottle and it is still running, which means it cant be the sensors any ideas???
