Felipe Massa, Monza 2006
Felipe Massa has a very interesting qualifying lap in Monza in 2006.
As you watch him throughout the lap he really uses all of the curb he can and the car really handles the curbs great. He turns into every corner almost spot on every time and you can see especially when he goes into the 2nd chicane how he uses every inch or road plus some of the grass a little in the braking zone.
He also adjusts his brake bias as he goes in to almost every corner as you watch his right hand move the brake bias either front or rear. He does an absolutely brilliant job at using all of the road on every corner.
The only thing I did happen to notice that may have been able to be improved would have been in the last corner where if you listen he lifts just a little in the gear he is in just before the shift.
This may be caused by a little slide or something but I did notice that and it could have been a few hundredths. But it was an absolutely stunning lap. Good job Felipe
